  • To cleanse the brow you may dampen a Q-tip in a mixture of water and antibacterial hand soap and lightly pass it over the brow in the direction of the hair growth, pat dry before applying post care cream.

  • DO NOT use aggressive movements while applying post care cream. Wash your hands before any contact with your brows to avoid infection while they are healing.

  • During your shower, face away from the oncoming water. The area around your brows may become dry and flakey; this is normal, and you will be able to wash your face more thoroughly after your brows have fully healed. Itching and flaking may occur during the first 9 days of healing. Only use a cotton swab with post-care cream to relieve the itch, ensuring they heal properly. Touch-ups and corrections of shape and design will occur only after 3 weeks from initial appointment and 6 weeks from touch up appointment.

What to expect after your microblading session:

Your new brows will go through several phases during the healing process. The pigment will appear very sharp and dark immediately following the procedure. This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of the skin and hasn’t settled in completely yet. On day 2 and 3, the brows will continue to get darker, but by day 4, the pigment will begin to soften gradually. Do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the cotton swab, as this is the excess pigment and/or body fluid that are exiting your skin. Once the healing process begins to take place it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. This might you the impression that the color pigment is fading too quickly. However, this is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. After two weeks you can expect your brows to appear 30-50% lighter than they did on the initial day of your microblading session. This is normal and any uneven and/or faded areas will be added back during your touch up appointment. Once completely healed, always apply a layer of sunscreen SPF 30-50%
